Vanessa Fox, head of hlw Keeble Hawson’s Family Law department in Sheffield, is trained as a mediator and in the collaborative process. She has led the family team for 25 years.
Vanessa has dealt with every possible family issue over that period, including children proceedings, financial proceedings, cohabitee and property issues, care proceedings brought by the Local Authority. Her breadth of knowledge in family cases is acknowledged to be very wide.
Describing her as “efficient, caring and robust,” the latest esteemed Legal 500 guide praises Vanessa for her “broad knowledge of finance and childcare, and for her passion for collaboration.” Vanessa is always keen to look for a practical, fair and efficient method of resolving issues between separating couples, whilst supporting her client in dealing with the upset and upheaval of family breakdown.
Vanessa also prepares pre nuptial and post nuptial agreements, separation agreements and conducts a number of non litigation forms of dispute resolution.
As chair of South Yorkshire Resolution from 2013 to 2017, she has grown the membership and presented the keynote speech at two family law dinners, attended by the local bar, judges and solicitors, in 2014 and 2016.
Vanessa is a member of the Law Society’s Family Law Panel and the Children Panel, and an accredited specialist on the Resolution Panel.
