Tech Returners    “Our core focus is to develop others to succeed to then enable them to inspire  others”    Tech Returners aims to remove the barriers that returners of all ages, genders and life  circumstances face after a career break and, as a result, help to tackle the skills  shortage in tech.    Overview of the role    As a Programme Coordinator you will work closely with the team to support the  coordination of all the Tech Returners programmes, you will support the end to end  process for the returner community and also our sponsors.    You will have a passion for diversity and inclusion and a real focus on wanting to  make a difference within Technology sector.     You will work closing alongside the coaches to continually review the programmes  and gain valuable feedback to recommend and implement improvements where  necessary.    You will contribute to building the TR community and over see the mentor network.    Key responsibilities    Your responsibilities fall under three categories of development which are to develop  you, develop them and develop us.    Develop you    A key responsibility of our Programme Coordinator is to continually develop  themselves. In practice this means we want our team to be continually learning.  Staying at the forefront of best practices and processes are all part of the ‘day job’.  As part of embedding this learning we ask you to share with our community in various  formats such as blogs and social media.

To empower returners and enable their opportunities in tech

Develop them  

Tech Returners runs training programmes with the purpose of educating and  introducing people back (or into) technical roles and then focusing on continual  development. As part of this vision we are looking to introduce further initiatives that  will all require feedback and learnings from our partners, potential partners and the  industry.

Develop us 

As well as programmes we run we also want to build up our community in the form of  events, workshops and partnerships, so you will have a key role in identifying  potential opportunities.
