“If anything was possible, what would you do?”
Rachael Mackenzie has a mission – to inspire everyone to be brave enough to fulfil their potential. Overcoming anorexia and prejudice to become the number one Thai boxer in the World, Rachael has been on a journey to discover the qualities of success.
A mother of twins, she switched sport in 2016 after a knee reconstruction to pursue her goal of representing her country, a goal she achieved after just six months. Currently British boxing champion Rachael juggles her sporting commitments with her roles as wife, mother, physiotherapist, fitness and nutrition coach, speaker, mentor, explorer and broadcaster.
She shares her personal mantra “I am strong” with the belief that the pursuit of both a strong body and mind leads us to a life in which anything is possible. In 2017 Rachael launched “Unboxing Potential” utilising the power of sport, art and relationship to achieve the large goal of all young people and their families achieving well-being.
Chris Pointon Husband of Kate and co-founder of #hellomynameis
‘Through Adversity comes Legacy’
This is a very personal, inspiring and heart-warming session that will leave you inspired, reflective and overall in awe of such an amazing individual.
His inspiring wife Dr Kate Granger MBE along with Chris came up with a global campaign that was to revolutionise patient care across both UK and global healthcare. Chris talks about the journey from the conception of #hellomynameis which was born out of a bad patient experience to how it now fits within global healthcare and how Kate’s legacy continues.
Throughout the evolution of #hellomynameis the focus on patient care being at the forefront of what they do along with making interactions on any level and in any setting more of a human connection as this is the first rung on the ladder of communication. The practicalities of what this involves are fairly straight forward however it can lead to a much more therapeutic relationship.
A very inspiring journey proving that through adversity you can create a legacy
