Never run out of social media content ideas again!

The following list covers a range of content for you to post on social media. From personal to business-related, FAQs to promotional posts, this list of 15 ideas will inspire your content calendar for a long time to come.

1) QUOTES

Humorous, inspiring or motivational quotes always perform well. Do your research and find quotes that relate to you or your business. Place them on colourful backgrounds with a image that matches the quote.

2) ASK A QUESTION

Pose simple, basic questions that your followers can answer quickly. This will also help build relationships, If one of your followers has a direct comment, answer it thoughtful and not just with a yes or no.

3) ANSWER FAQs

Followers will have questions about your brand or business, again answer these thoughtful and honestly.

4) THANK YOUR FANS

Always thank new followers and start that relationship building process from the off

5) CROSS PROMOTE ANOTHER SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORM

Link to another SM Platform that you own. Building followers across all your platforms will help to build that community you are look for.

6) TESTIMONIALS

Eliciting reviews from fans or followers is one of the best ways to get testimonials you can use as social proof on your website.

7) SHARE A FREE RESOURCE

Everyone likes free stuff, right?…Share a checklist, tip sheet or something that relates to your business.

8) SHARE A LINK TO A BLOG POST

Share a link to your newest blog post and pin to the top of your SM platforms. This will make it easy to find also easy to see how many shares you have and if that particular blog works.

9) SHARE OTHER PEOPLE’S CONTENT

Doing this keeps you up to date with what your followers are talking about and discussing. Make sure that if you have a thought on the article/blog you comment or join in on the discussion.

10) LIST BUILDING

Offer an opt in offer or newsletter so people can keep up with what is happening within your business/brand.  This is also a great way to build that E-mail marketing list.

11) RECOMMEND A FAVOURITE TOOL

Share a favourite tool that you use to help drive traffic to your brand/business. Coming up soon we will share what we use and how they help us.

12) PROMOTE YOUR WEBSITE

This is self-explanatory, The use of SM is to help drive potential customers/clients to buy from you, so promote your website and your products. This also falls in number 13

13) PROMOTE YOUR BUSINESS

No matter what you are doing SM is a great way to get your business out there, Promote the hell out of it.

14) PERSONAL IMAGES

Adding a personal touch makes you look human and not just a marketing machine. Add images of you or your staff e.g. in a meeting or showing off your product or a group shoot of the office with everyone at their desks; whatever makes it personal.

15) SHARE A BIT OF YOUR STORY

How you started your business, the struggles you went though, why you started and what it took to get to where you are now, all of these have a human and connecting element that resonates with people.
