Food Industry Associates
Food Industry Associates is a modern thinking recruitment business based in the heart of Headingly, Leeds. As our name suggests, we recruit for the food and beverage manufacturing industry - so whilst a passion for eating and drinking is not essential, it will certainly help!
We’re a smart bunch who value the importance of building time in to our busy schedules to exercise, spend time with our families, and pursue other passions outside of work.
Most us have young families at home, so are all too familiar with the rush to drop our little ones at nursery or school club before fighting the rush hour traffic, and eventually landing in the office already harassed. We also appreciate how guilty we feel at times if we miss assemblies, award ceremonies, sports days and the like due to work commitments. Imagine if it didn’t have to be this way.
We believe things can be done in a different way, a more intelligent and less traditional way, and we’re perfecting it. Best of all – we’re finding that not only can similar results be achieved whilst working more flexibly, they can be greatly improved. We firmly support the view that a happy worker is a productive worker.
We believe in giving back to an environment that allows us to work outside of traditional hours and address work/life balance. It’s not rocket science – it’s how successful relationships work. So, whilst we often work unusual hours, you can rest assure we’re focused on the task in hand when we are working.
We’re generally less stressed, more engaged and more focused due to the way we operate. All that is required to succeed in our business is the right attitude. That’s it, it really is that simple.
So if you believe your life will benefit from greater flexibility, and will appreciate the chance to operate in this manner, please get in touch.
“since moving from my previous role to a flexible working position at Food Industry Associates, I’ve been able to far better balance the challenge of working and bringing up 2 young children on my own. When at work, I know exactly what I must do and how much time I have to do it in which is great, but most importantly I’m not made to feel like an ‘absent mum’ any more as I’m able to experience all of my children’s achievements at school”.
