Scriba PR has another important date for your diary, with a further opportunity to attend our handy ‘perfect press release’ workshop.
Set to take place between 9.00-11.30am on Wednesday 24th October at our Lindley office, this press release course – which is becoming a recurring and popular event – will be led by Katie Mallinson, Managing Director of Scriba, with the main purpose of HELPING Yorkshire brands refine their communications activities.
Places are limited to six, so if you’d like practical tips on how PR can help to better ‘tell your story’ to your target market, and raise your profile in the process, this is the event for you.
The entire press release process, from taking an effective brief, through to drafting compelling content, then pitching and issuing a release to journalists, will be condensed and discussed by Katie – who will use her 12 years’ PR and copywriting experience – in this interactive workshop.
Commenting on the latest session, Katie said: “Capturing the attention of your target audience and relevant journalists is largely dependent on the quality of press releases you send to the media. So I’m going to provide some key principles to help others get the basics right, with a view to raising their profile in the right place – something which many technical businesses struggle with as they wrongly believe that they are ‘too complex’.
“The demand for this workshop – following the success of our previous events – has been high, so I’m opening up the doors once again and looking forward to providing yet more guidance and tips for another group of businesspeople wanting to improve their PR skills and liaise with the media.”
