I couldn’t believe it when you said that Sudocrem is great for sunburn, I just always connected it with nappy rash cream as its main use for best results baby’s delicate skin. I had never thought to use it for sunburn. Why does it work and when should we apply?
Sudocrem Antiseptic Healing Cream contains three main ingredients that, working together, provide an effective treatment for sunburn. Firstly, the benzyl alcohol contains a mild local anaesthetic and antiseptic properties and this helps to ease the pain and discomfort of sunburn. Secondly, it contains lanolin, an emollient that moisturises the skin and helps reduce peeling. And lastly, the zinc oxide helps to heal the burn.
