Magazines For Kids – Britannica Magazine Review

Just love it and very much worth the subscription!

I have been asked to review a lot of children’s monthly magazine subscriptions and we mostly say no as they are either pitched as children’s magazines for boys or for girls which are beyond frustrating to think that brands still feel my daughter wants to read about ponies and hair braiding while my son is interested in space and dinosaurs. They normally cost a fortune and are somehow linked with having to build something with an item in each issue so you end up with a titanic replica for about £750 in total or glue and glitter and 3 runs to the shop to ensure you have what is needed to make the latest art creation neither of you will still have in 4 days!

So when I was approached by Britannia Magazine I must admit as I clicked on the link to have a look, I was expecting to be disappointed, but I wasn’t! The magazine designer has a love of colors and its works so well, amazing graphics and spectacular photos and when you delved in they were the perfect magazine for explaining our wonderful world for curious minds of our curious children.

We were gifted the introductory issue along with the April edition, May issue, and June issue and this is what we based our experience on.

Review Of Britannica Magazine For Kids

Britannica Magazine is a factual magazine for curious young minds aged from 7 year olds plus but will easily engage high school students. It has full text articles but is presented in a way that is so engaging to read and in accessible formats to engage along with fun jokes, quizzes, and amazing artwork… And it was great to see him away from screen time for a while without some form of threat to certain popular portable devices!

From my point of view, the quality of the paper and presentation was great and while he decided which to choose first to read of the samples we had been sent he was genuinely so excited to choose and worried if he picked the wrong one he would miss out. He was easily entertained for the next hour with one snack break and for the next week, he kept going back to it to re-read articles to do with his school homework or to follow up with the quizzes. Due to the quality as well you will keep to refer back to and look great on the shelf.

I am amazed I haven’t seen these in our local libraries or schools as they are a brilliant reference point for homework help.
