Night Lark Duvet Coverless, A Game Changer

Night Lark Duvet Coverless, A Game Changer

“Why do you need a separate duvet cover? Life is hard enough! Stop the grapple with a duvet and wash and go!”

We were #gifted two of the children’s coverless Night Lark Duvet junior sets from the Fine Bedding Company in pink and blue with a stylish night owl printed duvet and herringbone weave. They both came in reusable duffle bags and matching pillowcases to store them in. They are a modern take on the conventional duvet. The whole idea is the re-imagination of the traditional duvet, and two months on, they are a massive hit for us. we have even bought one for our double bed and one for my parents!

What Is The Coverless Night Lark Duvet

It is pretty simple when you think about it. Still, it took years of innovation to come up with a duvet that fits in the washing machine (no need for a large capacity machine )and is machine washable and can dry in around an hour over a dryer or a fraction of that time in a tumble dryer on a low temperature. It’s a beautiful soft material, and the big win is that as soon as it’s dry, it’s ready to throw over the bed, no resting with duvet covers or searching for matching bedding and ironing it!!! The only fight you will have is with your fitted sheet!

What Is The Night Lark Duvet Made From

The patented Smartfil polyester cover of fibre duvet filling is silky soft, hypoallergenic, and made from 100% recycled PET bottles.

What Does The Coverless Night Owl Duvet Cost?

Prices vary depending on which Night Owl duvet you are looking to purchase. But for the two we reviewed in this article, you are looking at £45 each, and that includes a pillowcase as well as your coverless duvet. Honestly, I couldn’t rave about them more—they are a game changer!

What Colours And Patterns Do The Night Lark Coverless Duvet Come In?

The duvets come with a wave pattern in different colours aurora green, twilight blue, dusk pink, white seersucker, and cloud grey, along with some great designs for the toddler sets, including dinosaurs, in a matching drawstring bag. Keep checking as they are constantly adding to the range. And if you have a camping trip booked, check out the Night Owl Sherpa outdoor sleeping bag they do; it looks like heaven!

Toddlers Night Lark Duvet Junior Set Review

Eliza was ready to move into her big girl bed, so we thought it would be the perfect place and time to introduce using the night owl coverless duvet as her first duvet in her new bed. I am not going to lie the move filled us with dread, as a toddler who struggles to sleep through can feel like torture so were hoping we didn’t get any sleep regression with the move to her big girl room. The soft cover was a great idea as it was so tactile for her and gave her her luxury duvet, it took a few nights, but the duvet made a huge difference in giving her her best night’s sleep. It became a comforter, so we take it with us when we stay overnight, as we know she settles down quickly with it. The plus side is if she does have any accidents, the whole thing can go in the washing machine and is so fast drying that no accident is an issue or hassle; you simply follow the easy care guide.

9Yr Olds Junior Night Lark Coverless Duvet.

So for Kimi, he constantly struggles with getting too hot and sweaty through the summer months, and when you think about it, the fact you just put a clean cover over the dirty duvet beneath it is a bit yucky! So we swapped it over last summer to see how it went as his summer duvet. He loves his football bedding sets, so it took some persuading to change to the blue Night Owl Coverless Duvet.

But after a week’s trial, he was not giving it back! He certainly got a better night’s sleep in the summer as the duvet kept him cool and was an excellent option for him, and it worked just as well in the winter months. It was the cosy comfort of a lightweight fibre fill night owl duvet and silky smooth, cool touch duvet that, just like with Eliza that, had him hooked along with the fact it kept him cool enough even in that super hot weather. And for me knowing it was a washable duvet and not just a washable cover was fantastic. Again so super easy to wash, and when needed, popping in the tumble drier on cooler settings in the care instructions when you need it quickly was great peace of mind.
