Event: Visit the secret garden experienceand the newly launched nature trial. As always the famous duck fountain will be filled along with great garden games accorss the lawn to get everyone entertained, You can meet the Thornbridge Smallholding Animals and stop for refeshments at the Quackers Cafe.

Farmarama at National Forest Adventure Farm, nr Burton upon Trent
Event: Daily from 22nd July to 4th September 2023
The ultimate beach party with gigantic paddling pools and a huge sand area to make the farm a beach! Hosting fun seaside shows, super sand art, the huge maize maze and a fabulous foam party! You will have access to the rest of the farm including the indoor soft play, the outdoor adventure zones, the animal barn & paddocks as well tractor & barrel rides!

The Runaway Train Treasure Hunt around High Peak Junction
Event: Everyday between Saturday 21 July to Sunday 2 September, (11am-4pm),Follow the trail and be amazed by the history of runaway trains and the oldest railway toilet in the world.Pick up your trail packs from the Visitor Centre.

Cromford Mills Adventure Weekend August the 27th and 29th
Event: Once again outdoor activity providers will be converging on Cromford Mills for our Adventure Weekend, 27th & 29th August 2022 The event is a showcase of outdoor activities, crafts and businesses designed to promote interest and participation. Joined by partners including Paddle Peak, Alpkit Foundation, Acclimbatize, Mount Cook, Peaks Go, Shining Cliff hostel and Derby Mountain Rescue. An action-packed weekend which includes kayaking, treasure hunts, rock climbing and so much more. Events and activities are subject to availability.

Daily from Sunday 23rd July to Sunday 3rd September 2023, 10.30am-3.30pm.
Event: During the school summer holidays there will be a different self-led activity each week, so make time for fun with the family in the fresh air. Turn up at any time, track down the clue cards to complete your activity sheet and learn about some weird and wonderful nature from around the Earth and receive a certificate! Approx. 1-2 miles.

Summer Holiday Art in the Park at Chatsworth near Bakewell
Every Tuesday and Thursday between 25th July 2023 and 31 August 2023
FREE except for car parking. Children of all ages can join in nature-themed art workshops in the park every Tuesday and Thursday. Sessions are drop-in on the day, with spaces available on a first-come, first-served basis. Sessions staged between: 10.30am – 12.30pm and 1.30pm – 3.30pm Meeting place – outside of the Park shop near the house entrance
