Explore Unique Zones at Imagine That!
One of the highlights of Imagine That! Liverpool has a variety of unique zones, each offering a different adventure. These zones are designed to engage the minds of all ages with a wide range of interactive exhibits and hands-on activities from early years to older kids. I found it great having a 3-year-old- and 10-year-old excited and hands-on with everything, which can be hard to find with such an age gap.
Imagination Village: A World of Pretend Play
Step into the Imagination Village, where children can immerse themselves in a world of role-play. The different zones allow kids to take on many roles in a mini-town, from shopkeepers to doctors at a working construction site or reading the weather report. It’s a fantastic opportunity for free exploration, encouraging kids to learn through play.
This was certainly in our top 2 zones. You get 45 mins in each zone, and it soon flies past but gives you enough time to explore everything.
Look out for the different activities the kids can make and take home in the different zones. We made lanterns in the construction area and maraca shakers at the supermarket!
Creative Fun: Art, Music, and More
The next zone you enter at Imagine That! is the art zone! It offers plenty of creative outlets. Kids can create fridge magnets and play on the music wall. Make sure you venture out of the main room, as another outdoor play area and creative station awaits. Enjoy the climbing wall as part of the agility-timed zone in the outdoor area. Whether it’s art, music, or science, there’s something here for every budding creator.
Bright Sparks Science Zone: Ignite Curiosity
The Bright Sparks Science Zone is perfect for young scientists eager to learn about the wonders of the natural world. It features interactive exhibits and a science show that allows children to explore fascinating topics like chemistry and physics.
They loved tipping the water on each other, creating a vortex, and participating in the great bubbles workshop!
On to the next zone, you get to participate in the Slime Factory.
They can even make their own slime in the Slime Factory. This zone is an excellent way to bring the national curriculum to life outside the classroom.
